This simple, fresh, and delicious pizza has become a favorite in our house. I was blown away the first time I made it. It is packed with flavor and low on fat.
Pre-made thin crust pizza dough, whole-wheat
My Amazing Red Sauce
2 Roma tomatoes, seeded & chopped
Vegan mozzarella cheese
Extra virgin olive oil
Start by making the red sauce.
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees
While the oven is pre-heating, remove the pizza dough from the container and spread it onto the stone. Brush on olive oil and bake the pizza dough for 8 minutes on the lower rack of the oven.
Remove from oven and top with the tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, and cheese. Bake for 15 minutes and cheese is golden brown. Remove from heat, slice, top with whole or ribbon sliced basil, and enjoy!
